On daily bases we use a technology extensively and are unaware of its actual meaning and working.
Global positioning system in short GPS , is found everywhere in every cell phone and commercial areas. So, I thought why not let's take a little time out of our daily schedule and understand and appreciate the amazing technology which had made life easy and is a part of life now.
GPS is basically a network of navigation satellites orbiting the earth that people can use to pinpoint their position.it can calculate its position on Earth's surface when it has information from atleast 3 satellite.
So, here was a little scientific definition of GPS and now I want to enlist few pros and cons
As an advantage, the GPS is used in defence system of every country as it is available world wide. Moreover it is used for mapping and navigating. Used to locate things. And much more but as an disadvantage is that it's accuracy depends upon suffient recieved signal quality,during navigation it may land up people in trouble over blocked road and under construction ones. It may have security issue as well.

It 's true when the signal is interrupted I must recalculate the path continuously and at the end I have to get by myself. But all in all I believe the pros outweigh the cons. Good post.
