Me again...
People deserve to know the facts about the things around them.
I promised education posts based around our nanotechnology products and dammit I want people to learn.
Nanotechnology is not just about little robots cleaning out your arteries.
Sometimes it just makes sure when you step in a puddle or spill wine on your tie you won't be left with a stain.
Our coatings create a nano-scale layer, completely inert and without the use of dangerous chemicals unlike many other so-called "nano" products do. We, unlike many others, truly manipulate material at the molecular level to create our desired coating.
As you can see in the picture the coating causes the water (dyed blue to stand out nicely) to sit up on top of the fabric and doesn't allow it to penetrate into the fibers. The coating is so thin (approx 2x as thick as human DNA) that you cannot see or feel a difference on the surface.
This is very easy to do as it is all done using a water based delivery system. Mist the coating on and work it into the fabric. That's it. You can rub the coating in with your fingers and as soon as the water dries it is protected. That easy!
There are safe ways to protect your things with nanotechnology. If you want your stuff to last longer, look better, and not worry about your suede shoes when it is raining then I hope you've learned that there is a way.
Is this interesting? Please let me know in the comments.
