Brain-to-Brain Human Telepathy {Communicating Without Speaking}

in technology •  7 years ago

There is no doubt that the only limit to the possibilities embedded in Science is just the human mind. Once the mind can think it, then it’s possible. After all, many of the great inventions we have today started as weird impossibilities.

Now I’ll be bringing us another possibility in the field of emerging ICT; I’m talking about the technology of Human Telepathy. That is; communicating with someone directly from the brain without even moving your mouth.

This idea was popularized by the mutant professor Charles Xavier in the X-men movie series. Though his own was purely a resultant effect of genetic transmutation, but science is trying to replicate the same effect with this emerging tech. and yes, nothing is impossible, as long as your mind can conceive it.

Sometimes in 2015, a team of researchers lead by Dr. Andrea Stocco made headway in this technology in the University of Washington. The research was carried out on monkeys and the results were amazing. The need for vocal and body language was bypassed as the “brainet” (the telepathic network system) interconnected the brains of the monkeys together. Rats also have been researched using this tech.

But we’re not just looking at telepathy in animals but in humans.

The future of human brain telepathy

Based on the successes of animal specimens in this research, scientists have proposed that human telepathy is a huge possibility.

In a recent research, a breakthrough was made in this field with the help of an Electroencephalogram (EEC) cap which is meant to be worn by the communicating individuals. This cap will track brain thoughts in form of electric signals and transmit it wirelessly to the receiving individual.

But it will be a little awkward to walk on the streets with an EEG cap. A better alternative may be to have a brain-implanted chip which will function in the same capacity as the EEG cap. So there will be no need for the cap (my opinion though; I could be wrong).

When we finally achieve this kind of tech; how will the communication be? Will it be either:

  • Simplex: Just like a walkie-talkie, you transmit and wait to receive the signal. Or
  • Half-duplex, or
  • Full-duplex? Where you transmit and receive communications simultaneously

Or maybe, a particular brain implant will enable people to communicate with everyone.

Believe me, hackers will now figure out a way to hack into people’s minds. (Humorously) I’ll just install an antivirus in my brain to prevent unauthorized access.

You're our next scientist the world is waiting for.
I am yet to find out the possibilities of communicating without speaking.
However, if scientists seems to have proffer a way of making this possible, then, alteration of the brain would be inevitable.

You're quite correct bro. Thanks for stopping by

Wow @samminator,
It's true that anything you can conceive, you can also achieve. This is an insightful post.

When telepathy is finally invented, we'd be able to communicate even easier and better. It would be a giant leap for the media also.

Great job

@buterdaniel

You're so correct bro

(thinking of the negative part of this development......!)😕

But it's a good development tho.
Thumbs up
(our next Einstein)

Lol. There's always a flip side to everything.
Thanks for dropping by bro

Upvoted and resteemed, I find this very interesting and I agree that our brains still have to be discovered in many ways. Nice post :) easy to read and mind opening. Cheers!

Thanks a lot. Cheers

Hello @samminator

Man you are a science innovation wizard. Good at what you do. I am really learning Lotta new things from other people and from myself,thanks to steemit

@eurogee

Oga @eurogee
I'm also learning a lot from you bro. Thanks a lot
@samminator

I know of telepathy... Haven't researched deeply! Thanks for sharing!

You can research further in this field. You know it's relatively untapped at the moment. Thanks for reading
