Nintendo just fixed the biggest problem with the Nintendo Switch

in technology •  7 years ago

The Nintendo Switch is a great console. It lets you play Mario, Zelda - and even FIFA 18 - on your big TV and then disconnect and take that same game with you on the bus without missing a beat.

But there was one big problem with the gadget that people started to notice: you couldn't transfer a save.

Which meant that even you've spent hours and hours conquering Zelda, your progress was lost if something happened to the console. Not great considering all the dangers that can befall our portable electroncis.

Thankfully, Nintendo's latest update for the system finally adds the ability to transfer your save files and user profiles to another system.

Interestingly though, there's still no option to create a cloud save.

The Version 4.0.0 update will download automatically when your console is connected to the internet. Once finished, you'll be prompted to install the update and restart the console.

As well as saving your progress, the new update will also let you video capture from certain games.

The response from gamers has been pretty positive about the news:

I agree with steemcleaners that you shouldn't take an article from the internet unless you reword all of it in your own words.
