When texting can be done in our heads, probably through nanotech, we’ll end up with tech that’s indistinguishable from telepathy. This will increase human connection.

The ability to look inside the brain will lead to brain simulations, leading to better AI, and finally, brain uploading.

The big challenge then becomes: how do we upload you so that you are still fully you?

AI is great innovation

Honestly I hope I don't live long enough to see this become reality.

Amen to that!

lol watched a film recently yes Agent of shield the scientist design a machine that extract human consciousness, then also designed an artificial brain with limitless storage space just like the human brain and then transferred the consciousness to an A.I so its action are more or less same as when the man was alive but at the end, it still run on sets of command even though its action are dependent on the uploaded consciousness .

The big challenge then becomes: how do we upload you so that you are still fully you?

No, the big problem is how do we keep hackers from downloading malware into you. Seems to me that nanotech is more of a problem than a solution.

Heh! I'm kinda old, heh, so i remember in the 90s when people reacted to the Internet with, "Hook my computer up to a network of millions of other computers? Are you crazy?"

Well, are you?
