The horrific footage proves that a nuclear bomb has created a 'nuclear lake' with the former Soviet Union - and it is still radioactive.

The images that were shown more than 50 years ago are closing - a huge dark mushroom cloud filled with the sky.

Char acts as a dam in the existing river, when a channel is cut into the hole so that the water can be filled with water.

In January 1965, this clip was shot at the time of Chagga on the edge of the Semipalatinsk examination site of Kazakhstan.

Chaggan tests were made to test the composition of nuclear explosion for the construction of reservoirs.

Lake Chaggan, as it is known, exists today, but it is still radioactive, which causes the 'nuke lake' nickname.

The target for peaceful uses of nuclear devices was conducted under the banner of 'Nuclear Explosion for National Economy'.

The blast, with a lip height of 6525 ft height, has an arched 328-foot vault and covers 1312 ft.

The Soviets were proud of Lake Chagan during his creation, and the Minister of the Ministry of the Medium Machine Building could also be seen in the lake submerged at the end of the footage. The water used to eat the livestock of the area.
