6 important steps to beat a slow phone

Smartphone users face many problems with their devices, most notably slow hardware. Although this is related to the technical specifications of the device, there are some steps that can be taken to overcome this problem.

1- Do not ignore the update request: Approved updating the operating system when you receive the message, because updating is necessary to improve your phone's speed, so do not ignore or postpone the update request.

2- The need to review applications every period: The user should review its applications from time to time, by deleting all applications that use them only rarely.

3- Effects and Backgrounds: Adding animated backgrounds, colors, and effects when you switch from one application to another causes the phone to slow down, so avoid it as much as possible.

4- Sharing photos and videos: Sharing pictures and videos on different messaging applications affects the storage space available on your phone, so you should scan the non-important items continuously.

5- Telephone Convenience: Experts recommend that you "restart" your smartphone at the end of the day, which will speed up the device's operation and convenience, as with computers.

6- Factory reset: This is the last step to be taken if the above mentioned tips do not work. The factory reset should be done after all important items have been transferred from the smartphone, as the phone will be updated from the start as if it had just come out of the factory.

It is unfortunate and annoying that manufacturers only support smartphones for 2 years with software updates, which means people feel they have to upgrade as new apps and Google Services updates start to slow down their phones. I always consider if the handset will get a community of custom ROM developers behind it so I can flash the latest version and remove bloatware.

Unfortunately it can be tricky and daunting for users who are not very technical or confident with these processes. But if you have an ailing smartphone, and you want to zap some new life into it, I suggest checking out a well supported ROM such as LineageOS, and give it a go.

Well choice is Iphones or Google pixel, the rest is not good for long term. Samsung makes very good phones but when their new phones comes out and the old gets updated, the old becomes slower and slower..
