HMD Global has launched a new variant of Nokia 3310. The name of this variant is named Nokia 3310 3G. During the Mobile World Congress, Nokia 3310, which is considered to be the most popular phone ever, was re-launched. Nokia 3310 is currently available in the Indian market and its sales are just getting off.
Pekka Rantala, Chief Marketing Officer of HMD Global, announced on Nokia 3310 3G that more than 1 million units of Nokia 3310 were sold in different markets of the world. However, the 3G variant of Nokia 3310 is only launched in the Australian market, where its sales will start from October 16. In Australia, its price is 89.95 Australian dollars (about Rs 5,320). It will be currently sold with Vodafone and Optus Telecom.
This variant of Nokia 3310 will already be able to run Fast Internet. Apart from this, there will be some more major changes in this. Icons and Themes will get customization options and colors can also be changed. Some changes have also been made in the user interface.
Nokia 3310 3G will be available in four color options. These include charcoal, blue, warm red and yellow. According to the company, it will give 27 days standby backup with a SIM. Apart from this there is a slight change in its keypad and now it will be more space between the buttons so it is easier to type. A full charge can be negotiated for 6 hours continuously.
