There is a digital divide between the literate and illiterate, especially in China. However, technology is helping to close this divide.

  • The ability to draw characters on screen
  • Speech technology
  • Audio functions that read the text on a web page.

      If it were utilized properly...then yes it would human first priority. Unfortunaly, much of tech is used for pure profit motives.
