Most of you may remember those days when Nokia was a mobile behemoth with incredible sales figures and an unrivalled catalog, right? Well, not all their phones were exceptional, however, there was one that certainly marked a before and after in the industry; the Nokia N95.
Back then most phones were “dumb” with basic features, but those with camera, Internet and Bluetooth were an oddity. The Nokia N95 was one of them, an emblem of Nokia’s N series, it was ahead of its time: multimedia, apps, dual keyboard, 5 Mpx camera and GPS. It was the king. But then Android came out and the Nokia N95 couldn’t do much against it in terms of flexibility.
The Nokia N95 was an expensive high-end smartphone back then. Today, its once advanced technology it’s present in every low-end Android smartphone. I remember the first time I used the N95 and it seemed like a device from another planet, but now most people use it as a paperweight. That’s how things are in this industry.
