I made an amateur radio contact with a station from Rawdah, Kuwait in the evening!
Let's start the week in a very good way! The propagation on 7 MHz (and the antenna of the partner) was good enough in the evening to make make a contact with a station from Kuwait with my very simple (Half-wave Inverted-V) antenna. The center of my antenna is only 7 meters above the ground!
I rarely make contacts with Kuwait on the radio (or any other way). Since 2012, I only made 11 contacts with Kuwait on the radio. So this is my 12th contact with Kuwait. I am very happy now!
In the evening (2017.09.17, 22:58 UTC) (Local time: 2017.09.18, 00:58 CEST) I successfully managed to make a contact with 9K2OD Osama from Rawdah, Kuwait on 7155 kHz.
The distance is 3102 km. I have sent 59+10 signal report and I have received 57-58.
No wonder, because he have serious antennas and he have a big antenna tower as well.
