Today we live in a world where technology has been a major tool in all ramification. Technology has become a body of knowledge invented to create new tools, and help to extract materials. Technology as a whole has different means to different people and everyone in their own understands it from a different perspective.

In brief, we use technology to attain numerous task every day. In discovering somethings we rarely know, in our place of work, in assisting ourselves with some burdensome tasks and countless things we do with technology.
Everyday of our life, we apply technology in almost 70% of what we do, for instance; like transportation, exploring, at work, securing data and so on. Technology has great benefits to humans if applied well.
Most organization and business uses technology in about 95%. We all know business is all about competition, for an organization to remain at the top there has to be some proper researches and that's when technology comes in.

Communication technology
Looking back in the 1990's it was very difficult to communicate to one another. Back about 75% of families uses black and white television. Communication was very difficult, it was letter and mails that were available then. For instance you want to send a message to your fiend in a far country, you'll have to write down a letter and clearly write the address of the recipient, if the receiver is outside the country, you'll have to include the destination county's name. Which at the end of the day is very stressful and time wasting.
Information technology
A set of hardware and soft ware tools used to store, transfer and process files is known as information technology. One major importance about this technology is that it helps in providing uses the right information and at the right time. Most workers in an organization uses this technology to complete numerous tasks, for instance. Transferring of information which facilitates decision making. Organizations like banks, factory uses information technology to operate their entire business.

1. Computers
In brief, the word ''computer'' means a person or something who computes. The question is, is it possible to live without a computer? The answer is yes, but life will be very difficult for you trust me. Computers have a dramatic impact on the way we work and think. Before the invention of computer, people do calculations locally by using their hands and paper. Presently, those descriptions have turned into SEO, IT support and data analyst. That's just epic!
Drone
Regardless of what you call them, an aircraft or a flying mini robots. Drones are growing rapidly in the technology world today. No doubts, drones have been attaining diverse height where man can't.
Increasing work productivity and efficiency, decreasing workload and production costs. Irrespective of if the robot is being controlled with a remote, it does play a vital role in the technology world presently and also reducing burdensome work. Remember, drones have been in existence for decades.

Yes, technology can be very helpful, BUT, as I'm sure you well know it can also be used for evil. Privacy concerns seem to have gone completely out the window, for example it seems, and that really bothers me.
Also, you have blatant misuses such as NSA spying, military hardware, criminal enterprises, identity theft, "smart" everything, Alexa-like spying devices, etc.
Then there is also the aspect of technology which keeps kids inside on video games or texting when they should be outside MOVING.
Everything has two sides. Everything can be used for good, or for evil.
Technology has tremendous power, and as some (like Elon Musk) have warned it, we need to do more to insure that it doesn't eventually enslave us more than it helps us.

Technology has done wonders and it's continuing to do wonders. I feel there is an urgent need for technology now to be used to advocate environmentalism because I feel in as much as its good, it has helped to disconnect us from the natural world and its environmental impacts are almost never talked about. This explains why I think its time for technology to focus on the environment and try to engage people to connect with nature or else we risk watching how we will die of hunger, diseases, climate change, etc using technology and not being able to eat technology.
