Nokia 2, 7, 8 and 9 are the new models to be launched in the near future
New Nokia smartphones would be on the market in the near future, given HMD Global plans.
The first three smartphones launched by the manufacturer under the umbrella of HMD Global are popularized by the company, even if none of them is a flagship in the true sense of the word.
However, sooner or later, one of the future Nokia smartphones will have to assume this role. Most likely, it's about the 9 model, which has been rumored for some time to be the company's top smartphone, based on a Snapdragon 835 processor, but also a significant amount of RAM, from 4 GB to 8 GB.
Processor information is confirmed by market sources both in the West and in China after a period of relative silence over rumors about the emergence of the new mobile phone.
Behind top-of-the-line Nokia 9 models, models 7 and 8 would address the mid-range segment, the first with the Snapdragon 630 and the second with the 660.
Also, Nokia 2 should be an entry-level budgeting phone and its processor will most likely be Snapdragon 212, although there is also the possibility of using a processor from MediaTek, writes pocketnow.com.
Unfortunately, there is still no concrete information about the launch date of any of the phones or the prices they will have. We can expect models 7, 8 and 9 to be more expensive than model 6 and we can hope that at least one of them will benefit from optical systems from Zeiss.
