If I buy tenX on an exchange can I move it to somewhere that it can be used and collect dividends?

    You need to move it from the exchange once you choose to hold, to an ether wallet such as myetherwallet. The TenX team announced that they are working on having their distributions paid to you even if you hold the tokens at an exchange. But my guess is that this isn't a priority and will take a long time to be implemented.
