Test - Create/Edit Op Status

This is getting seriously strange. You changed the keys yourself, so now the 'hacker' does not have access to your account anymore. But where is the problem then when you already have new keys? You don't need the account recovery then.

I can't get in. Apparantly, the recovery isn't finished?

I tried for days in a row to get in.

Better start allover again?

So, basically there was no 'hacker', because otherwise he would have changed your keys, but the owner key history shows only 2 keys (both set by yourself). I don't even want to understand this in detail, I just want to get this done now.

You changed the keys, but they don't work on Steemit etc., right? As long as you have the original private owner key (that you used for changing the password on feb. 13th), we can recover the account 100%. I would say, start again with creating a new recovery request then. But don't do anything by trying out. If you have a question, let me know and we will do this step by step.

Important
When using https://steemworld.org/key-generator to create the owner key for the request, enter the correct account name 'hive-166850'. Then click on 'Generate Random' and store the public and private owner key.

I didn't really get what or how it happens and it was really worrying me. Thanks for clearing things up.

I was having fun in the community so it was saddening when I lost my place to hang out.

What I did/tried:
Via steemit.com I changed the keys for my account.
Later I noticed there was something wrong with hive too.
I tried to recover via steemit.com twice without result.
Next I searched on and ended up on steemworld. I gave it a try and have a file with keys dated on febr 13. I asked for the recovery and waited.
Just like this time I never saw a request or timer.

I have the original keys as I opened the community for @team-ccc
I have a file with keys dated febr 13
I have one febr 22 and I think I deleted one too.

Alright, I give it a try again.

Ok, later when confirming the incoming recovery request, please use the original owner key (not the key from 13th). That is your working 'Recent Owner Key'. Basically both should work, but with that one we know for sure that you were able to change the password with it.

Got the new keys and did the recovery account step.
Don't see an incommimg request will see tomorrow if it shows. Thanks so far. Happy day/evening.

Just to keep a log of facts. The incoming request is there and the recovery could now be done with a click.

I think I managed to recover the account! It took long before it showed the request.

What next (tomorrow)?

Ok, looks good. It does normally take just a few seconds until you can load the incoming request, so I guess there is something wrong with your internet connection or so.

Now I recommend to change the master password to a completely new one. Store it in a safe place! This can also be done on SteemWorld:
