Actually, he is :) One day, when he was about 13, I said to him, "You never do a single thing I ask, ever; do you?" To which he replied, with a smirk, "Have you only just worked that out?" I'd just asked him to clean his room - again. And he'd said, "Yes, of course." And continued on the Playstation. I've created a clone of the character in your drawing.

He is now 22 and moved to Galway a few years ago. He went on a six-week tour of Europe, following music festivals. His favourite was Galway, Ireland because, as he put it, "best musicians and you can drink on the pavement". He only came home to pack. If you send it to "Nicholas Clark, c/- Surf Hostel, Lahinch, Co. Clare, Ireland" he will receive it. He will LOVE it. You are amazing :)

also, magical coincidence one of the characters in this story's name is nico :) -short for nicholas, based on my baby brother who is also a stubborn butthead lol, but also brilliant and i love him just the same.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. I've actually stopped writing music a little because I have a bunch to release. A 28 song album on BandCamp. I'm almost done but life creates lots of competition. I'm sure you and Tremo know.

Funny you should ask about my "writing" I feel like my writing skills have been improving since being in Steemit.

Reading through the comments. I want to upvote, but feel there isn't much point since they only count for money in the first week, unless it's changed. Maybe it should be a longer payout period? There's so much stuff on here that you can't possibly read what interests you in a week :)

we grew up with no internet until our teenage years, worked through high school and college years, incurred debts for worthless degrees, grew up in broken homes witnessing a planet that's been wrecked and torn apart by our parents and grandparents, most of of who spent their lives trying to control how and who we love. some fucking entitlements we had.

Gen Xers went through everything you mentioned above. But we are also responsible for environmental movement, sharing technology and ideology.

Not sure from your reply if you were talking about Gen Xers or Millennials referring to the entitlement part.

I can understand that. There is what looks like a growing group of Millennials that are crushing that stereotype. You see more and more of them on Social Media like YouTube making their own way and earning 6 and 7 figures online.

They were not happy with going into huge debt getting a degree that would not help them get a job that they would not find satisfying anyway. So they are going out and making it their own way.

This is where they use the word "entitled" in a positive way. Since corporations, for the most part, have not kept up with salaries and work-life balances, these millennials are not accepting those conditions.

This Gen Xer has taken 3 online courses from millennials so that I too can go this route.

That is also why when I saw your drawing and all the subtle hints you had drawn in. Or maybe I read them wrong. ie the mounted batman head, the Anarchy mask, etc, I thought cool. This person might like my stuff too.

Keep drawing and making great art. We need more and more of it.
