I attended 'Tezos Community Korea Launching Event at Merry Garden in Designer's hotel last Friday night. That was hosted by Tezos Community Korea which is being acknowledged as an authorized Tezos community in Korea by Tezos. Surprisingly, Kathleen, one of co-founders of Tezos, also made her visit as a keynote speaker gracing the event with her presence.
With two reasons that I should participate in this event such as obtaining operation ideas as to holding such an event like this, and absorbing information and grasping atmosphere of Tezos there, my expectation on this event was gradually growing as getting closer to the venue.
On the ground level in front of elevator, I found this sign giving me a direction to 13F in which the event is being held.
Only invitees can attend the event, of course, I was one of them as I applied for before, I needed to check my name was on the list, and picked up my name tag and attached it on my chest.
When I turned around to look around the floor, there was what you can expect when you go to a club: a photo zone and balloons floating in the air to the ceiling which made the space more lively corresponding to the atmosphere of the whole floor even to its music.
Through a ballon tunnel, I could reach the main event hall where some participants were already there.
There were a lot more foods and drinks than I expected, not just sandwiches and fruits but various selections that guests can choose from!! They even printed Tezos logo on all Macarons(: That was so cute.

As the MC of the event started the event, he introduced Kathleen, the co-founder of Tezos, to us. She looked younger than my thought just like a University student.
Shortly, we had a team quiz time as Tezos Korea had all of us form a group as they planned, and in each group, there were 6~7 people who had never met before. The Quiz time was pretty interesting and fun by solving quizzes getting together.
After that, Kathleen started to present her speech, followed by Q&A session. She answered almost all questions that were already gathered in advance through an invitation survey and also tried to answer extra questions on the spot.
From her speech, I still remember that she hoped Tezos would become a network that covers all around the world, and to a question that what service or Dapp does Tezos plan to apply to its system, answered as she is interested in gaming while Arthur got interest in a private information security solution. In either way, I guess all Tezos holders are waiting for whatever future Tezos would make that they hope that would be beneficial.
Afterward, Tezos Korea awarded winners of the quiz game with Silver nano ledger(guessed). And as all official program was over, everyone there had free time to enjoy the Friday night!
There was a lot of fun and everyone seemed enjoyed the whole event, and also for me, I have learned a lot about both Tezos and operating the meet-up.
