It looks like a grass snake, which is not venomous - use to keep one as a pet when I was a child. It does seem rather long though, so I do not suggest you play with it, until you are certain

Hi, @shantie, from the pattern on his head likely parallel yellow-green lines and the one on his body I can guarantee you this is a Golden Tree Snake it has very mildly venom, but never a record of human death because of it's venom. It is not aggressive and will go look for small geckos and frog or small birds. Not a problem even if it is not really afraid of human proximity. Very common in Thailand.
