We're going to our first real American family Thanksgiving today... with people we really don't know. What must we make sure that we definitely do, and don't do, to be good guests?

Are you meeting up with your whole family? How many are they? Will you have the traditional turkey or something else? Cookies or cake afterwards? Will there be presents like at Christmas?
Here in Austria we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but my boss is from the States, so I'm really curious!
