I am grateful for the sunrise. The light & warmth of the sun is life!!

Traveling - this past weekend I have travelled about 1700kms across the Canadian prairies. The scenes are quite similar over the many hundreds of kms. Here are some of the scenes...

This is a piece Grandma made. But, I recall helping her roll out the logs! It was created in 1984! I was 7. Gramma always kept a plant in it. It was past to me from my Auntie. Love it!!

Thanks friends for reading through 💙❤💙❤

Cool plant holder.. I love sunrises too

Thanks Dave! Great to see you stopping by ✌🐣🌻

That's a lot of travel. I remember travelling across the prairie by train when I was about 18 years old and thinking when was the flat land going to end? LOL

LOL and i have not made it east of Wynyard, SK. So have only been through 1/2 of the prairies! The drive north though! Have been up to Yellowknife. At least there's plenty of trees heading that way. But, i don't wish to drive it again if I don't have too! Flying would be much better!! I have heard the shield goes and goes and goes too! Rocks for days!! So nice of you to drop by & to comment!! Thanks Ceici 💗 so nice to connect.

I love sunrises too. Thanks for sharing, hehe. I'm Oatmeal Joey Arnold. You can call me Joey.

Hi Joey! Nice to meet you 🐣 i am curious how you came across my post? Thank-you so much for your comment & for introducing yourself 🌻

I came across you while Steem Surfing (SS), haha, and I do not really surf in real life or not yet but I love meeting new people.

Oh! That's neat.

That is ALOT of miles!!! wow!!
Great photos! glad to see that there is snow in other parts of the world still!
I love your ceramic planter. The memories it must flood back! :)

8 hours each way!! And, a few hours between here and there. It's totally 'normal' for us. Though i couldn't have convinced my son to do it if his cousin didn't join us!! Lucky it worked out he could. The lucky skunks even figured out how to connect to the car's high speed wifi for the trip home! The boys were in 'heaven' over that score!! I rented a car for the drive. It was a lot of fun to reminisce over the clay cabin making. Gramma said too, making clay is something she really enjoys but even now, she doesn't take any time to do it. It's like it's never a high enough priority to do the things that bring us joy. Even when we know whay they are. I wonder why that is? My son and I did clay projects at Christmas. It's really is such a fun activity!! This is what my son made. I guess i don't have a picture of both of them.

Makes for good memories for sure. Is there an activity you like to enjoy? Does your daughter do it with you?
