Hello fellow Steemians here is another drawing of mine that I have entered into @deemarshall’s “The Gallery.” What a wonderful post and place that Dee has created for an artists to exhibit there artwork on. I feel it’s always good for an artist to have that extra exposure on what you are creating, it can only be a good thing! I personally have met other artists on this site, that I otherwise wouldn’t have met before, and such wonderful relationships have come out of it, so I urge you other artists to come and display your artwork at this gallery. And also make sure that you bless the other artists with a reply, and upvote on their posts, it’s really worth your time. PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE, that’s what Steemit should be about.
I call this particular portrait “Deviance.”

This man is looking through the bars of a jail cell, sentenced to life in prison, maybe even the death penalty. I pray for the ones who are in prison, that they may seek God in repentance for their sins, asking sincerely for forgiveness, knowing that they have been so evil. I pray that these prisoners come to love the Lord, believing that Jesus Christ is their savior, and finding great comfort in it.

My husband @sighmanjestah is providentially reading a book by Charles “Chuck” Colson titled “Born Again”
A short synopsis follows;

In 1974 Charles W. Colson pleaded guilty to Watergate-related offenses and, after a tumultuous investigation, served seven months in prison. This was all digitally drawn with my iPad Procreate App, using graphite pencils. Also on this App is a skin making tool which I used to make his skin look very porous. Also on this particular App, there is a hair tool, for fine, medium, and thick hair stands. It takes some practice to get each hair looking right, but once you’ve got it , it’s smooth sailing from there. When I draw a portrait, I concentrate a lot of my efforts on the eyes. I believe they are the windows to your soul. And I tried very hard to show that this mans soul is very burdened, hardened, angered and evil. I think I captured that fairly well.
