Steem money slowly going down.

Guys I am new to steem. I noticed 2 days ago I had 1.25$ and every day it is going down. What is going on? Can someone tell me?

      The potential payout shown is calculated on a 7 day average of the price of Steem on the markets.

      The amounts paid are never directly paid in USD but to give an easy indication of what the community valued your post at, it's calculated to show how many USD would be required to purchase the same amount of Steem.

      Long story short, it's only an estimate and can go both up & down.
