Hello everyone! This is my next entry to Steemit's diary game. Yesterday was not as eventful as other days, but stuff still did happen. I will describe it all here.

My Life

I woke up around 9am yesterday, and immediately checked the 100 days of Steem and Steem. I then wrote the diary entry, and scrapped the work I had done on Achievement 5. I rewrote it without indepth descriptions of each of the Steem Tools. I decided it would be a better idea to let new users explore the tools on their own, and come up with their own favorite features rather than force feeding them every possible option. That post took a while because I also wrote out a sample article.

After doing that, I decided to take a shower and eat lunch. For lunch I had cereal :)

During that time I discovered this cover by Ray Charles. I really like it:

I also watched a video of him performing it live, and I noticed how he sways his body while he plays. I thought he must be dancing. Then I noticed that the conductor was looking at him, and I realized "Oh. He can't actually look at the conductor." My theory is that he moves his body like that so that the orchestra knows his tempo.

I listened to the news for about an hour, and afterword began work on my article for achievement 6. Around 3pm I realized I had to practice for recording for Music for Steem, and stopped working on the article. However, I got sidetracked by a conversation with @jmor about politics. Around 4:10pm, I realized that I still didn't know how to play the song we were going to record, so I picked an easier song that we also intend to do in the future.

I left for Emma's house around 4:45pm, and got there at 5:00pm. We recorded to songs. One for this week, and one for week 8 when we both are in college far apart. We have plans to prerecord up to Christmas break so that we can keep posting music here on Steem. Even during college.

The recordings went well, but they took a while. After we finished them, we read through some other music that we plan to do. Emma is still picking out the songs she wants to do, but I have picked all of mine out. So we read through some of mine, and read through some of the ones that she is thinking about doing.

Around 7pm we ate dinner. Emma's mom was kind enough to cook us hamburgers, fries, and green beans. While we ate, we started watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I really liked the book, and the movie was decent. I was sad that they cut so much from the movie, but what can be expected?

After we watched the movie, we watched TV for a while. We watched a show called Parks and Recreation. I did not care for it much, but Emma liked it.

I left Emma's house around 11:45pm, and had the time of my life going home. There was a road under construction that I did not realize was under construction. I turned onto it (because the road I was coming off of was in the middle of the road under construction). It was at this point that I realized that I had made a grave mistake. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out what to do, but I eventually drove on the wrong side of the road to get out of the situation (the construction vehicle flashed their lights at me to tell me to do that).

When I got home, I went to bed. I forgot pictures again. I promise I will try to get more today.
