Application to Become an Ally of the Gamma Syndicate of the Alliance

Over the course of 6 months that I have been on Steemit, I have had a lot of growth. I started growing better here when I started interacting more with people and the credit for it goes to two people mainly: @eco-alex and @topkpop.

I came across an @ecotrain question of the week which I participated in. My answer was appreciated by @eco-alex who is the esteemed driver of the @ecotrain and that got me a seat on the train so I became one of its many amazing passengers. Joining it helped me in many ways, one of them was meeting some lovely people and interacting better with people from the Steemit community.

How I joined #thealliance

At the same time, my friend Jenny who has the username @topkpop talked to me about being a part of #thealliance. We were in touch since a few weeks and she knew that I worked on posting authentic stuff consistently so she thought I was a good fit for #thealliance and it would be good for my growth here. I became a part of the lovely community and instantly fell at home in it. I met some lovely people there including @tattoodjay and @saffisara.

I also overcame my hesitancy to talk to people and engage with them and started enjoying more on Steemit. So this explains how I got to know about #thealliance. I was a part of the community for a few months and everything went well. Then my sister and brother in law came to visit us from the U.S. for 3 weeks in December and I got so occupied with pending time with them and taking them to places that I could not contribute as much as I used to in the community and could not be involved in it regularly. The mistake on my part was not informing them of my absence on time. So when I did get free and returned to my usual routine, I got back to Steemit properly and #thealliance and found out I was moved down to the supporters from the members.

Why I want to Rejoin #thealliance

Since I loved being part of the community and missed being on it, I wanted to join it again so that brings me to why I am writing this application. I want to join #thealliance because this community gave me the strength and courage to believe in myself and talk openly about what I believe in. It supported and encouraged me in many ways. The different members of the community are extremely supportive and lend you assistance whenever you need it. So I want to join it because I know I’ll be needing lots of guidance and support here on Steemit to grow further and for that I need to be surrounded by good people and honestly #thealliance is only full of amazing people.

What I can Contribute to the Community

As for what I can contribute to the community by becoming an ally, I think I can offer the same love, support and encouragement to everyone as I have received from them. I write on topics related to personal development, growth mindset, acceptance and self-love and these topics only benefit all of us. I share my personal stories with people and many of them are those that people resonate with. This helps them feel that they aren’t alone in their battles and can share their experiences with me.

Also, I recently won a 500SP delegation for life from @anomadsoul by being nominated in the #rolemodelsteemian challenge. The delegation is given to me to spread my voting power wisely and I plan to do that by highlighting and curating more quality stuff so the people who do not get as much recognition as they truly deserve come in the limelight so I believe that this come of use to #thealliance too. 

I do hope I get accepted as an ally in the Gamma syndicate. Let us see what the future has in store for me. 
