Every once and a while you find fun and laughter in the strangest places. A bit ago I found and started using a voice podcast program called Anchor.fm. The Application is ridiculously easy to set up. I didn't even swear once while getting everything ready and making my first 'just voice' Podcast.
Anchor.fm lets you, in an easy way, get your words out. You can record from your phone or from a computer. The site also distributes your podcasts to at least eight other podcast sites including Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts for free.
Anchor lets you download your podcasts for free. Once downloaded, I took most of them to Choon to upload. Choon is a music site where you can earn notes when people play your podcasts or songs.
On Choon, I also uploaded some of the songs @inthenow and I have done together.
Try new things!
In this day and age, there is always something new coming out. Some of the new applications might not be for you but then again if you think outside the box like @jackmiller did on his Choon account.
@Shadowspub Choon account takes another approach as well as @artemisnorth's Choon account.
You never know how much fun you will have if you don't reach outside your own bubble of comfort and try new things!

maybe you should try reading all of the terms of service which states quite clearly that the copyright to the content remains with the creator. This is pretty standard on all sites of this type.

You can take it down and have the rights to that. I read that. But they can take your content and do whatever they want with that. And that is not standard with all podcasting host sites. On the contrary.
And I am sure I am misreading your tone - but just for your information, this app has been discussed at length in the podcasting world by people who are experts in that space and the general consensus is to stay away from it.
You obviously are free to your opinion and do whatever you like.

no it's quite clear that I have my copyright with or without taking it down. It is also quite clear they have to have the right to use the content in order to distribute it to the other podcasting sites without violating MY copyright. Many so called experts have discussed the terms of service on multiple sites over the years and claimed the sites were trying to get ownership of your content. They were wrong more than right.

I had considered giving Anchor.fm a try. However, there are already so many people doing podcasts, I can't keep up with them all. 😱

I listen to them while cleaning my kitchen or rolling smokes :D so far works for me and I think you should GO for it!! your voice would make great podcasts!!
