STAY
There was a mean old couple who lived in the deep woods. They were bitter and hated everyone, they even hated each other. The only good part about them was that they lived in the woods and wouldn't bother anyone from town.
One day while he was chopping firewood and she was in her garden, she had noticed a boot print had crushed one of her plants that sent her into a fury. She knew it was her husband, so in a fit of rage she went over to confront him. After a heated argument, she got so upset that she grabed the axe he was holding and ravagely chopped him to death. Then she burried him near the woods at the corner of the property and went inside to relax with a cup of hot tea.
Just before dark, she was sitting on her porch, and started hearing a faint voice in the distance,
"Help..."
After a few times hearing the voice the woman calles out,
"I know it's you, You are alone now!"
She went back to sipping her tea, and just before sundown when it began to get dark she heard the voice again,
"It's dark here, help me..."
As she went to yell back at the voice, she noticed the spot she burried her husband that afternoon was disturbed so she walked over to it in an attempt to finish him off. When she reached the spot, she called out,
"I'll take care of you this time!"
But she noticed that the dirt was removed and his body was missing. From right behind her the voice came again,
"Who's going to stay with me?"
She quickly spun around, but the source of the voice couldn't be found. So she yelled out,
"Not me anymore! You can live in the ground!"
Frustrated, she starts to walk back to the house but once again, right behind her she hears the voice, much louder and more serious,
"Who is going to stay with me?"
She spins around, but before she could say anything, a hand leaps from the ground and grabs her leg. While it's pulling her into the soft earth she can hear the voice repeating
"YOU will stay with me!"
