It sure is ironic that the external mic died half way through lol but audio is something that I don't take too seriously tbh, but what I do hate is when a bit of fluff gets into the lense somehow :S

I am still recording and editing with my smartphone which makes things super easy and fast. Of course the quality is lower than yours though. I think I will buy some equipment down the road when cryptos finally go up and I have a little bit to spend.
