THE DIARY GAME: 12, August 2020 - SUMMER HEAT

Good vibes to all steemians out here.

How’s the weather in your place?
Here in Japan the temperature is getting hotter everyday. It’s the peak season of summer and the humidity and dryness makes it more sweat full and sticky to the body. I don’t know my smell anymore! Haha... even if you shower everyday, when you go out and sprayed perfume you will still smell the sweat scent. Lucky to those who have wheels to go in and out of their office or workplace with air conditioning. To those commuters, there’s an air conditioning bus already and the travel is much comfortable than ever. Sad to those who bears the stiffness of this sauna like temperature. A big open sauna as I called it. Well, there’s ice cream and cold drinks to quench our thirst. Just be very careful with heatwave. It’s better to bring lots of water and salt in case of emergency or you can buy salt made candies to the rescue if in case needed.

This candy contains salt and Japanese apricot combined to combat body temperature from too much sweating.

As a starter for my diary blog, today’s menu for my obento lunch is Sukiya beef bowl, broccoli and egg. The taste is good!

Japan lifestyle is very comfortable. If you cannot cook just buy food at the supermarket or convenience store. If you are in a hurry cooking especially in the morning that you need to prepare a lot of things and there is no time for cooking, you can buy frozen cooked foods. Like this photo of the popular brand products of SUKIYA. An eve ready cooked meal just reheat and place it on top of the rice, your lunch pack is done. So easy to prepare and in a very affordable price. I am not promoting any brand here it just happen that I bought this package for our quick obento food. There’s a lot more quick and easy to prepare frozen foods just choose your favorite.

After working, I bought this inari sushi for my dinner.

Matching it with chili hotdog, I had a satisfied dinner meal.
