THE DIARY GAME: 14, August 2020

Hello everyone here on steemit community!

6 AM
Early in the morning, I eat my breakfast of pan with peanut butter crunchy together with a hot instant caffe latte.

I love the taste of this brand that soothes my taste for coffee flavors. It is not too sweet nor too bitter. Just perfect aroma for coffee lovers like me. I’m a coffee lover and mostly I drank coffee 2 to 3 times a day.

This is the peanut butter chunky I spread today for my early morning pan breakfast. The taste is good and very creamy. I like it very much.

10 AM
After a while, I started cooking our lunch meal sautéed pork meat with vegetables of carrots, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, onion and kidney beans with the flavor of oysters sauce.

Actually this sautéed vegetables are the fillings for making “Harumaki” or Spring Roll but since I don’t have any wrapper at house, I ate it that way and going to buy wrapper later for the remaining fillings.

For those of you interested in cooking this Spring Roll Fillings, the following are the ingredients:
100 - 150grams of pork meat
1 pack bean sprouts
1 pack kidney beans
1 pack bamboo shoots
1 piece of carrot
1 onion
2 gloves of minced garlic
2 tablespoon of oyster sauce (the amount depends on your taste)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon mirin (sweet sake)
salt and pepper to taste

Note: All vegetables must be thinned slice.
You can add cabbage and sweet potato too.

Procedure:
Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil.
Sauté onion, garlic and pork meat.
Add the soy sauce and mirin for the taste.
Place the cover and simmer the meat for about 3-5 minutes. (It depends on the kind of meat you used)
Add the vegetables and sprinkle the salt and pepper.
Spread the oysters sauce on top of the ingredients.
Cover again and simmer until well done.

After attending my part time job while walking down the street, I collected these grasses and flowers to make this “Leaves Ikebana” for my new art design.

Lastly, I bought this dinner at the convenience store,” Chicken Karage Mayonnaise Maki.” The taste was good. It’s been a long time for me to eat this kind of maki sushi food.

I really love the Ikebana Leaves design that you created! It is very simple yet a beautiful ornamental material to beautify our homes..
