Sunday was all about dog walks and floors mopped. It is the only day I have to do it because this next week I have to start traveling again and getting busy. I have clients not only locally, but also regionally to follow-up with and try to generate new projects with.
My son was able to see his father for the first time in more than 3 months!
Dear Diary - Sunday Wasn't A Funday
It was 6:10 and I was trying really hard to willy myself to sleep in. The dog scratching at my door was the last straw. With a sigh, I hopped up out of bed, put my feet in my slippers and started my day.
After our morning rituals I was going to scrub and mop all the floors today. Especially now that we have a dog, I am much more driven to try to keep our house clean.
It took us almost a month to finally get rid of every last flea and mite that our puppy had. What a headache! My arms looked like they had track marks on them from being so bit up. And to add insult to common sense, I can't use harsh chemicals on our puppy because he is still too small. It took several vinegar baths to finally come out ahead, but I did!
My next challenge is keeping the house poop and pee FREE! Puppy was starting to pee and poop when we went on walks, but the last few days he seems to have regressed a bit. So, I will be spending a couple intensive days taking him on walks to try to encourage "go out!"
At 11:00 AM, which came way to fast, my sons father picked him up for the day. With a calmer house environment I tackled mopping and dog washing. Lunch came as a quick stop, and then back to it. By 1:30 floors were mopped, the dog washed and walked.
The rest of the afternoon was spent finishing up a publication for the OpenMindedTraveler.com website. Yes, there is an actual website where I develop what is essentially my personal brand as a writer. All the details came together and the final product was approved by my client. Then, it was time to promote via WhatsApp, Social Media and LinkedIn.
This is the article I wrote and published: https://openmindedtraveler.com/2020/09/13/liisto-application-colombia/
I am representing an app developer for my audience. Normally, I avoid apps like the plague, but this one actually has some really good features. My goal is to help it gain as much ground as possible.
With my publishing task finished, the rest of the evening was spent hammering out my diary game posts as fast as possible so I could get to bed at a decent hour. I think I did ok. It is 9:30 now, and by the time I get this finished it will be 10:00 PM which is a bit on the late side for me. My brain feels foggy and my body is worn out. Where is my personal midget slave when I need him - a shoulder rub would be nice right about now.
All in all it has been a productive day! Stay tuned, things are heating up as we race towards the finish line in #the50daysofsteem!!
