The diary game of //28/03/2024// the most hilarious event I attended

Good morning my fellow steemians, it is my pleasure to share one of the most hilarious memory of mine which occurred on Thursdays March 28th. Guys , there is this dark, beautiful , smart, vibrant, three years old school girl In my compound that invited me to their old school day at feeders international Montessori school. I was especially amazed and promise to attend.

But a night to that day was really awful , that's why I started the day very slow and uneventful because I slept late and woke up two to three times in the night due to mosquitoes prevalent. My ten months old daughter was of utmost concern to me. Lack of power supply (electricity) all these put together constitute a weak ,boring and slow morning for a mother of a baby.

But as God would have it ability comes from him,bit by bit energy started rushing through me which refreshes me creating in me scintillating spirit Which I use to start the day's routine. It was then that it occurred to me that there's a party I was to attend. Initially I didn't take it seriously infact I faced a dilemma thinking of whether to stay and focus on house chores.

While I was still perplexed in my indecision,the young girl in my compound came to remind me of their "children old school party ". Ella was happy as I promised to come to their party , this was just to please her my little friend a 3 years old girl. By 1:30pm I left with my daughter.

We trek for 15 minutes before we got there and what I experienced that day was so fascinating,infact it was so captivating that I was glad I went. The children attire ,was just too wonderful to overlook ;the headgear, the boys were on suspension,a piece of leather or clothes material is on top the shoulder and is clip or sewn to the waist of the short or trouser.

Afro hairstyle was very rampant,some of the kids make grey hairs and some boys go as far as creating mustache.The amusement I get from watching them was second to none most of the kids try mimicking old people

This girl in front carry swag too much. She is already set for action, her dressing depict typical Akwa Ibom culture, it's frequently dressed by elderly woman going to church, Village council coronation, traditional marriage, burial occasion etc.

The little child in the picture shewing shewing -stick is depicting the African Culture were elderly ones were fun of shewing shewing -stick in place of toothbrush 🪥 and some of those shewing-stick are medicinal to the gum.This dark damsel baby girl with red neck - bead is dressing like a typical Yoruba woman.

Wow! This is amazing, imagine the fair beautiful girl on black gown dressing to depict a full blown pregnant woman, hahaha😃😃 can you imagine ? She is even holding her tommy as if she is heavy inside and feeling tired, oh! My goodness! What won't i see🙈 lol.

Folktale and proverbs was one of the thing that made the occasion enticing, hilarious and captivating. Proverbs like; Are those trees that are standing, standing in two's?
Ans~ is that person that is coming, coming to gossip? Both short and long tales were captured. Each of the child showcase their traditional old school attire by cat - working and the best old school child was selected

Teachers were not left out, they all dressed and groom like elderly ones.infact one of the male teachers dressed like a traditional groom during traditional marriage. The occasion was really amazing, I was glad I responded to the invitation

Cross section of parent and other invited guests who attended the party. It's was quiet amazing to be there, seriously, the kids were so fun to watch and they really made my day. My fellow steemians and curators, I thank you much for making out to go through my work
