'It takes a very long time to become young.' - Picasso

That´s why I highly recommend: be silly and stupid from time to time.
It´s the most efficient antiaging treatment of all.

There is power in looking silly and not caring that you do.

Don´t Do Stupid Things (Alone)

There is no time to be bored in a world as fun as this.

I´ve been observing my cats for a while now. They are absolute cracks when it comes to spend time wisely.

That´s why I tried to behave like them for one day. Here are the results.

Trying to be cool

Trying to be threatening

Trying to be surpised

Trying to be curious

Life is serious enough sometimes. Whenever we can find some humor in a complicated situation we win.

Maybe laughter doesn´t add years to our lives, but it definitely adds life to the years :)

Happy steemy weekend!

=^.^=
Have a great weekend!

Thank you Kenny! It was definitely 100% fun. The same to you 🙃

Love it, we moved into our new house today and our Susie is happy as hell with the new yard. Have a great weekend.

Oh that´s lovely! The one on the picture where I am "trying to be surprised" is called Susie as well :) Yards are like paradise to them, I can totally relate.
Thanks for your kind support, Randy!

Awesome :))

It's nice (now with HF17 and HF18) that I can come here a day late and my vote for your good article still counts! ;) :D

😄😇😄

@creatr

I'm convinced they did HF 17/18 for us, the surfers. More time flexibility! 🏄🏿😄👍

LOL! You're absolutely right, Sweetie! :) More time to surf! ;)

That's actually what I was doing, ha! Got me! Have you seen my new board?? Clayton 6' 4" I am so proud 😌 It's amazingly fast!!! 100% fun 🎬🏄🏿👍

Ooooh, nice! May I try it? :) :) :)

Sure! Whenever you want :)

😄😇😄

Looks like you've had lots of fun being a cat! I am glad to see that and you're sending out a positive message! How awesome that you are your own example :-)

Haha yeah! I should have published some of the outtakes where I cry laughing 😆 Thanks for your sweet comment. Positivity is my elixir 🤗

This is so much AWWWWWW

Cats are the best <3

Oh yes they are!! 😍

I see you are a cat lover, too! We have 5, sometimes 6. 3 indoors and 2 regular outdoor cats. One more stays with us part-time, then disappears for a week or two.

How nice! Well we've got 4 - the ones that appear on the pictures. The white one (on the first and second pic) has cancer so I am always treating him a bit more than the others assuring that he will fully enjoy the last period of his life 😌
Enjoy your weekend!

Good one. This reminded me of the best cat joke ever.

Hahaha 😅 I am like this telling jokes, too. I perfectly remember our Christmas Eve when the whole family came together. I wanted to tell a joke when we were all having dinner. I couldn't. I was just laughing all the time while the others were patiently waiting like this: 🙄🙄🙄 Telling jokes is really hard work! :D

I agree, it is hard to be a comedian. Most people don't find the same things funny as they do. Comedy is just like gambling, you throw the dice and if the brains of listeners think as you, you'll get a laugh, if not you will get their eyes rolling. Best thing to do then is to use the ninja smoke bomb and disappear :)

Oh yeah trying to be funny and noticing that nobody laughs at all is surely one of the most embarrassing things of all 🙈

Cat's face on that first picture is priceless! :D
Great post and I agree with you, being silly is so much fun and it is so liberating sometimes. :)

Hahaha he was so cool looking at me like: what the hell are you pretending to be?! 😂😂😂
You are absolutely right. It's liberating!
Have a nice weekend, @nikolina!

Haha! :D That's one of the reasons I like cats.
You too! ^_^

You can't be having all the fun alone surely?

Oh it would have been half of the fun not having them in the pictures, wouldn't it?
But if you meant that it's generally possible having fun alone then I'd 100% agree on that one 😉👍

101% lolss

Lovely pictures. They really made me smile!

I am really happy to hear that @benjojo 🙃 That was actually my intention.
Enjoy your weekend! ☀️

You two really resembled. :) Cute! @surfermarly

We are actually 5 (me plus 4 cats), but they are brothers and sisters so can be easily confused, hehe :)
Thank you! I am happy you enjoyed it.

Right T.T I just saw the facial expressions. :) Thank you @surfermarly

Sure, that is actually the most important part, hehe :)

Excellent post and incredibly cute photos! Thanks Marly!

Thank you @paradise-found!!!!
We had a lot of fun doing them. Well I had fun, the cats I don´t know.........:-D

We are about to be a home for overly obese cats! I mean HUGE with leg muscles too boot, something needs to carry that heavies around. Mama is a feral cat that is like el tigre, her 2 pups that are almost the same age as mama weigh 4x as much each! One engages in competitive eating while the other begs incessantly for food! Granted we will need to install a huge pet door and shoo them out during the night, we are delighted to get them. My wife's uncle and his wife need to find a home for them as he cannot risk cat scratch fever because of his medical condition (bolillos of the lungs), so we are excited, my wife has a thing for big bellies, granted one of the cubs(7 years old), the competitive eater, is very antisocial and the mama is feral, we think we can manage (famous last word) :D

Oh such a responsibility! You know what, in my childhood I haven´t been very close to pets ever. I had a cruel experience with a dog when I was 2 years old, after that one I never wanted to see any dogs anymore. It needed a lot of time, contact, positive experiences to get me back on track with them. Now my mom has a Golden Retriever, and you may know that these dogs aren´t really dogs, haha He is absolutely amazing and totally broke the ice for me. Since meeting him I am fine with dogs again.
I have full respect for people who take care of them when they most need their help. So fingers are crossed for that great project! :)

My friend had a "dog" golden retriever along with a escape artist husky that would get through the electric shock collar by wearing down the battery by sitting close enough to the line to get constantly shocked at the warning shock threshold, or would just bear the pain and bust through the line until he was out of range of the device. But the other was also a nutcase! I remember the countless times where I would be baited into playing fetch with him and never being able to make him stop, even after throwing the stick/toy for hours and hours and his coat was drenched in sweat. One time we took him to a big lake at the park and he started drowning as he was coming back with the ball, he could barely swim and would go under for a moment and come back up, when he finally reached the shore he was still not fazed at all! Awful creatures those things, very loving but DUMB AS A ROCK!

We have a pitbull lab mix we got from offerup for $40 when she was 3 months old.Great dog but cannot be trusted off her chain or unsupervised on the property. Not even two weeks ago my wife tied her with her walking leash she got away after she broke the leash, and murdered one of our ducks by breaking the little 2 foot fence with her brawny self. I gave her the beating of a lifetime, smacked her snot so good, not that I relish that. I had caught her just in time as she was about to get our other two ducks that she cornered, happily jumping around in attack mode trying to get to them as they were huddled under the house in between a metal frame. I made her sit in the hot sun for a couple days chained by the pond. She's a baby though, and I couldn't stand her cries for long and moved her back to her house.

I'm sorry to hear that you suffered from what I imagine was a dog attack, I always was close to animals and luckily never had a bad encounter. My friends and roommates at the time, in NorCal, had a neurotic border collie who wore down he front teeth to mere nubs by chewing on her back. She had a litter and murdered her cubs, and would be spiteful to people if you dared to taunt her at all and when there was opportunity she would attack you because of that, grudge much. I never had a problem with her and she always liked me, I would eat breakfast in the back and pet her, she hardly let anybody touch her including her owners. I heard that they ended up putting her down because she couldn't be trusted after they had a baby, she was prone to jealousy and they said it was just a matter of time before she attacked the toddler, as always she just bid her time until an opportunity would present itself, their other dogs, a rednosed pit who was very gentle mother and also a fierce pig hunter, and the brother to the neurotic mess were very well behaved and very smart, no tomfoolery. Like humans some are good, some are bad, and some are a bit in between, I believe it's not genetic, just environmental and reversible, to a limit of course. These cats are going to be in a completely new environment from the city. We live in the country, the oddball that eats competitively won't even eat anything but dried food, not even table scraps or canned cat food but I'm not gonna cater to her by enabling her fat self at all, she gets table scraps or what her mom catches. The other I won't put up with any begging, I will go there and taunt and mock it to death, I know many won't agree but I will post a picture when we get them here in a week or two of exactly how massive they are, they are at least 3 times your cats size if not more, they can still jump up over the 4foot railing of their patio with ease, their leg muscles are humongous, it looks like a bodybuilders arms almost, but they are definitely not healthy in the sense that they're neurotic about eating not just their size. I'm telling you, fattest cats ever!

Love this! Animals can teach us SO much about life in general. I think everyone needs to spend some quality time with cats or dogs to really see what life is all about. <3

Yeah, that´s true.
What we can mainly learn from them is unconditional love :)
Thanks for stopping by, @lanysullivan!

How have you managed to have your cats making this face?! In any case, I have laughed a lot :D

Haha, the question is: how did I manage to make the same face like them without starting to cry laughing :-D Glad you had to laugh as well... That was actually the article´s intention.

Meow!!!
