Why is Korra an incredible avatar?

I know that many people think that Korra is not as amazing as Aang (I thought so too) but they realize that Korra had to mature by force, she did not even know that it was really the world. She was isolated for a large part of her life. Did she make mistakes? All avatars committed them. But she learned on her own (With the help of friends, clearly) what it is to be a great avatar, she had to know for herself (Without help from her past lives) how to solve things. She had to know what real suffering was but that did not stop her, in the end she always made the best decisions for the balance of the world.korra-crying.jpg
