The true essence of beauty

“There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty.” ― Steve Maraboli

It does not matter what other people think of you or even say about you. You need to learn to discover your own inner beauty and develop a healthy and constructive level of self-love. When you can start to appreciate yourself with all your flaws and unique character traits, then your inner beauty will begin to reflect outwardly.

This is beautiful and I just love this post. A woman who is comfortable in her own skin and loves herself, imperfections and all, is truly beautiful.

Very nice post.
thanks for sharing this life..

Beautiful post.
I like this life.
Thanks for sharing.

I cannot agree more! I am not exactly thin, and I am definitely older. However, a few years back, I stood in front of a full length mirror, naked. I studied myself from head to toes. I took some of the fat around my tummy, pinched it, and said to myself: "I love this body. Every stretch mark, because they marked my giving birth and nurturing my children through the years. I love those extra inches of fat, it reminds me that I have abundance in my life. I love the wrinkles around my eyes, as they mark the laughter in my life. I love the wrinkles around my nose - they remind me that I, too, have seen pain. I just stood there, loving myself.

After making complete peace with my body and my face, knowing that I am loved, the kilograms started disappearing. My eyes lit up by itself. I am still not exactly thin, I am still definitely older. But I am me, and I love me.
