Day 10
2009-5-05

As usual, I woke up around three hours prior to everyone else, and then grabbed my stuff to prepare for my morning shower. I placed my clothes in my normal location, and began taking my shower. Halfway into my shower, the water line broke, and soaked all of my clean clothes. After laughing about what just occurred, I found some dry clean clothes to wear, and was ready for the day. I woke up Boulevard and Kenneth for chow, and we had an exciting time going, during, and coming back from the chow hall. Oh, and this command is getting more ridiculous by the day. They want us to wear glow straps… in a combat zone! Did I miss something here? Their reasoning, as it was later revealed, was a sort of preemptive measure dreamt up in order to save us from being struck, or possibly run over by any one of the many vehicles zoom zooming around on base. If you get hit by a vehicle traveling at ten miles an hour… you deserve to get hit! Anyway, I stated my case to the company officer during our group bitch session, and convinced him to allow us to utilize moon beams instead.

I’ve decided to crowd source the ever irksome task of editing and proofreading my book with you guys and gals, so please feel free to make any corrections or suggestions you’d like.
