Middle Classism

"Middle Classism" is a particularly American neurosis based on the idealization that a segment of society could isolate it artificially from the rest of not only the world but from nature itself. It is the suburban conformity of automated lifestyles and ideology that inserts buffers from the discord of politics, religion, and cultures. It is a status quo, a socially thermodynamic medium of regulated propriety and a stagnation of artistry and a tempering of all native desires. It is an equilibration and condensation of humanity into a shell of existence; it is the original homeland security, it signifies that ultimate sacrifice of life, originality, the mystical and the ecstatic for the comfort and security and the purported bulwarks to hold against fear. It is abstaining from care for the poor, the racism, the militarism; it abdicates responsibilities for these even though its very existence is built within and protected by these very elements. It is a form of white privilege. It is a belief that the end of civilization has arrived. It accepts as a universal truth that some must be the ultra-rich and ultra powerful and that many must suffer in poverty, but that divine provenance has provided that the true believers and worthy will reside safely and contentedly in the center. It is the extension of the conquest of America, and one which hides from the fact that the party ultimately has to end, that growth is not sustainable, and that karmic bills and reparations are due. It is an odious stagnancy; a swamp. The work of building civilization will and must continue. The middle class is broken; it no longer exists.

The middle-class dream was just that, a dream. It's doing exactly what it was designed for. To keep people docile while their labour is used to extract wealth and keep this merry little race to the bottom going for as long as possible.

It's artificial tribalism that keeps us blinded to the possibilities that we don't need central governance and control to live and.

It's kind of damned if you do and damned if you don't. People crave freedom but also order and obedience. I think the only solution is for a much more educated and open-minded populace. We are so far from that, but there is always and only hope... it's always about perspetive and mind-set. Peace
