Today cars have complex designs. None of the modern cars are simple. They have a ton of electrical and mechanical moving components. Of course this has made them safer, faster and more sophisticated but I like some of these vintage cars. I feel they were functional without compromising too much on the form.

I feel the same, something about the pure driving experience has been taken away from modern cars. They just all kind of feel electric. My first car was a mk1 Suzuki swift (nothing great I know) but I had done some work to it’s 1l engine and I could just feel everything... throttle response, road... it just had ‘feel’ and I had a connection. My car after that was a newer Ford Fiesta and it just felt electronic... no life!
Look at that gorgeous design on the 2000 above ^ it’s stunning, and just a pure driving experience. Chassis, engine and you driving it! That’s what it’s all about for me :)
