It's been rumored for a while, but the rumors be been hearing up lately after a couple people from the old cast tweeted that they would be in if it happened. Actor Steve Carrell would probably not be back to reprise his role as Michael Scott. If the did a new season it would have a lot of new characters to fit in as many original cast members have gone on to bigger things.
