Teddy Today: Exploring the Magnetic Pad.

in thestoryofteddy •  7 years ago

Teddy got his magnetic pad! And he seems to love it.

Flash was also very inerested in it.

and claimed it as his own.

They take turns sharing it though :)

As far as the mat goes, it is filled with a magnetic mesh almost like steel wool and not with hard magnets like I had expected it to be. It is not strong enough to stick say, a fork to, but if I stand on it I can feel the current.
The mat stays on Teddy's favorite napping spot on the ground where he can easily get to it.
While he doesn't sleep on it every time it seems like he self regulates how long he wants to spend on it. As far as I can tell he hasn't had another spasm since we got it on Monday evening, but I gave him some medrol on Monday morning when he had a spasm after his whole flea collar fiasco so I will keep monitoring him and seeing how he does with the mat over a month.

I can feel his leg muscles now which were pretty much nonexistent before the acupuncture therapy.
Yay for success!

Hope you have a good day
Lizelle

Interesting concept! I will watch your post to see if your cat improves.

Thanks! Have a look at the holder posts so you can see where we started :)

Cute cat ;-)

He sure is. Thanks

Cats have 30 teeth (12 incisors, 10 premolars, 4 canines, and 4 molars), while dogs have 42. Kittens have baby teeth, which are replaced by permanent teeth around the age of 7 months.
