Wow, that was intense. I can't even imagine what that would be like, to make a decision like that. Sprinkles will be with you forever, no matter the distance. It is clear you loved him dearly.

    I agree, as long as the love remains, no one we "lose" is ever really lost. We/they simply change form.

    Sprinkles is still my goofy boy, as Ebony is still my goofy girl, and every pet or person I've lost over the years is still part of who I am. And always will be.
