"The sperm"
When we talk about sperm, probably the first thing that comes to mind to people is to associate it with semen, reproduction, with sex, because it turns out that these topics are topics that are trends and that are very mainstream.
But I don't want to make another publication that talks about these banalities or these trivial issues that for me are not topics of my interest.
Because I want to talk about the meaning of the word sperm in another context, and yes, I'm going to talk about sperm, but about the sperm of the candle.
Surely we have all seen how when a candle is lit it melts and forms lines around it. If you look closely, you can see how artistic it is to fall from these wax drops on the candle.
I particularly find it a very interesting meditation method. In different stages of my life, I have used it as a stress reducer. Using the method of looking closely at the flame of the candle, focusing on the purifying fire, and then observing without focusing on anything, but only on seeing the process of how the wax is melting and turning into sperm. This is an exercise that Tibetan monks perform in different cultures around the planet.
It helps to focus, to focus attention on one thing, which allows people like writers and people who need to focus their attention on something, to maintain concentration.
It is something that helps a lot with students' attention problems. It is a very healthy method.
And it is a different way of seeing sperm as something that helps us and increases the quality of life in our day-to-day life.
And this is what I want to share with you about sperm.
