I’ve used both methods over the past few years, but I totally agree with what you said about timing can play a big part . Unfortunately my timing could be better. Thanks mike

Yep, timing is a big deal!

Holding current investment in Bitcoin is better strategy I suppose, because we never know when the next spike will hit the ceiling and never comeback to where it is now. If investment in Bitcoin and Steem is not yet made, I presume this is really the good time to make a purchase move. Steem ??? Yes Steem, we know Steem makes movement along with Bitcoin.

Hi @louisthomas For me, the important thing is to try to buy at the right time, always be up to date with the news and buy exaggeratedly BTC this is which is the basis of this fluctuating world.

Investing 101:

Having a few coins in everything only helps you profit if the entire market goes up at once. It's better to do your due diligence, research, converse with others in the know, and create an investment strategy predicated on your investing goals.

Don't bet on a token, bet on a strategy. Crypto investing on autopilot, wrapped in an intuitive, gorgeous experience.

Too many folks are gambling and not investing.
Build a strategy and stick to it.
It’s the best way to succeed in $crypto.
Seriously.

Thank you @louisthomas, for my opinion I think the Lump sum investment is good for crypto investment.

Dollar cost averaging is provably the best IMHO

Thanks for the info. Do you have a list of your latest investment? I'd appreciate comparing portfolios.

P.D: I'd appreciate your review on my latest post btw

Of course a good strategy is needed in investing bitcoin. Experience and knowledge in crypto is very much needed in terms of bitcoin gambling, and of course have to be prepared mentally if prices fall overnight.

Well the 2017 Outrageous bull did teach people to often take time Consider the future of Cryptocurrency, invest with pure strategy really. I think it's now more than a baseless gamble, it's quite huge and we'd do well if we invest responsibly

DCA but not randomly! Dollar cost average in low price ranges. Don't try to pick exact bottoms

More time is wasted in Dollar Cost Average, rather put all your eggs in one basket (this is contradictory to Warren Buffett principle), but when you know the trend is certain then no time to waste, put them all.
