At first glance FPS80 looks like a DOOM clone, but it has some differences. It's a pseudo-3D First Person Shooter (hence the name) which takes place in a dungeon. You have to fight monsters while trying to survive.
and can be downloaded or played on TIC-80 Official Site!
I like how your main weapon is a Bow not a Gun, though I wish it had a better shoot animation. The bow can kill monsters in three-four shots. You can fire Orbs which insta-kill any opponent but you only have couple of them.
The ammo you have is limited but you can collect more arrows as well as healing potions scattered around the dungeon.
The web version performance of this game is very low and it glitches out sometimes (Bow attacks wouldn't always hit) so I recommend downloading the cartidge and playing on native version for your system. (I only tried it on windows.)
The title screen music isn't my liking while the gameplay doesn't have a music, With minimal sound effects the game feels disappoiningly quiet.
While the game isn't really great, the work behind it is amazing! Writing a pseudo-3D engine for TIC-80 from scratch. The developer wrote an article about the making of the engine (link below.) The game is open-source on Apache license.
I might not play it a lot but it provided some fun while I tried it.
