Ramifications of the Tide Pods eating meme continue to rise with every passing day as efforts by YouTube and Amazon are not proving any good. The American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC) again released an alert warning about the eating of pods. This week 86 cases of intentionally eating the laundry detergent-filled gel capsules by teenagers has been reported. In the last week, total reported cases for tide pods eating were 39.

As compared to alarming stats of the first 3 weeks of 2018, these numbers were only 53 in 2017. YouTube and Amazon have taken serious steps for this issue by removing harmful Tide Pod content from their sites but the number of cases still increasing.
