Been quite caught up with life so haven't been able to post for a while.
Anyway, I've noticed this new craze of TIL ( Today I learn't) SO i decided to give it a bit of a nature feel :D as i always like to do.
So many of you when you hear the bird with the longest wing span must think
C'mon, Its got to be one of the eagles!
Like the Philippine's Eagle
This is the largest eagle in the world ( according to wing span) , the Philippines eagle has a wing span of 184 to 220 cm
But this bird falls short of the true victor.
Before i get to the winner of longest wing span, we need to make a tribute to the bird that used to have it before it became extinct.
The extinct South American condor also known as Argentavis. This bird became extinct over 6 million years ago but had a wing span over 7 Meters!
Lets get to the winner who I'm sure most of you did not expect.
The Wandering Albatross
The wandering albatross, is not the heaviest of birds but its wing span can get up to 3.5 Meters in total!

This bird would have been just awesome to see in flight.
