When Tim Tebow, who is ranked 29th on SNIPDaily's MLB's Top 100 over this past month, is not busy playing for the New York Mets or discussing college football, he is oftentimes putting smiles on faces for his work outside of sports.
In this particular case, Tebow surprised Michael -- a young man with Down syndrome who is a hard core Florida Gators fan -- with a home visit on World Down Syndrome Day.

Florida is, of course, where Tebow went to college. Needless to say, Michael was absolutely thrilled to open the door and find Tebow waiting there to give him a big hug.
Michael was so excited he had tears in his eyes as he hugged his mother right afterwards. But it was not just a hug that Tebow stayed for. He spent quality time with Michael asking him about NFL players who went either to either Florida or Florida State.
The highlight of the animated conversation was when Tebow asked Michael, "do we like Florida State?" Both he and Michael broke out in laughter and said "No! No! No!"
Tebow then wound down his visit by giving Michael his autographed book and an autographed Mets jersey. According to Tebow's Instagram post, he met Michael recently through his "Night to Shine" event that helps sponsor proms for teens with disabilities.
Tebow is a fan favorite across all avenues and we love covering happy stories such as his sweet surprise visit to Michael.
