The loss of human life is something no one ever hopes for. It hurts people and causes people to react violently. With that being said, as a society, we cannot turn around. People are now dead and gone and that's that. The only thing we can do for retribution is to stop festering the conditions that allow this type of destruction to thrive.
Please understand that the amount of destruction is present on every level of existence. Referencing the Maslow Pyramid of Needs, the most basic needs are physical: food water, warmth, and rest. Given those examples, how are they corrupted in the reality? Our food is genetically modified made from fake ingredients, and has no nutritional value; our water is highly fluoridated, dirty, and rain water collection is outlawed in several states and countries; people have no shelter to sleep in which is an infringement on safety and security (which is the 2nd level) and also implies that there is no place for one to actually rest, which means sleeping soundly with no worries.
With that being made aware, our jobs as humans is to bring back balance to the world. The first things we need to do is to move money. Stop doing business with big corporations that do not have your best interests at heart. We need to spend with local and family owned businesses, place our moneys in local/employee/black owned banks. We need to organize our communities in such a way that someone is teaching our children instead of the same system oppressing you. We need to grow our own food and raise our own cattle instead of going to a franchised store. These basic needs that are being infringed upon are stopping the mobility up the pyramid fro one to "Achieve one's full potential including creative activities". We can't get to Self-Actualization because our Physiological Needs are not being met. If the government you have given jurisdiction to, refuses to provide those things to you, your choice is to either go with it or learn how to do it for yourself. This year when we boycott, we will make permanent solutions so that future generations will never have to go through the emotional rollercoasters that we have gone through. Don't drop the baton!
