On Thursday 6 April 2017 two American navy destroyers fired 59 tomahawk cruise missiles at the Sharyat air base; a Syrian military airfield; in Idilib province, central Syria destroying aircraft shelters; old tactical airplanes and small buildings.
This was In retaliation to the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad suspected chemical gas attack on his own people in the Rebel held area of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib province on Tuesday 4 April 2017. It is believed that more than 70 civilians died an agonizing death ; of which 27 were children.
The suspected banned nerve agent which the Syrian Military used in their airstrikes bombing the people of Khan Sheikhoun is thought to be none other than the woeful "Sarin". Sarin induces foaming at the mouth , convulsions , breathlessness and paralysis.
