The first thing you need to do is stake or cage your tomato plants to keep them off the ground. The Blight disease is in the soil naturally and each time it rains it splashes up on to the leaves of the plant and will kill the lower leaves. To prevent this, when the plant gets to be about two feet tall, you need to cut off the lower leaves to about one foot off the ground. Although this is a great method, it is not a guarantee it will stop it completely. The more humid it is the more you can expect it to be present. Always water your plants in the morning and don't get the plant itself wet, just the ground. Thanks for checking out my article and give me some love, Thanks.
