I know that sounds silly, but it just seems like there should be more.
After you get rid of the knob or whatever on the bottom, once you start getting normal slices that you could put on a sandwich, I feel like you get surprisingly few slices before you're done.
Like out of nowhere, "oh, there goes the tomato".
Anyone else?
In my mind a tomato feels like it should last a while and be there to slice at for many sandwiches, similar I guess to how onions work. But actually it's like a few good slices and all of a sudden you need to start thinking about the stem and how to work around it.
Very deceptive.
No one at my end. I blend my tomatoes.
I get the frustration though. I recently bought a few tubers of yam and was surprised at how many slices I could get from each. My neighbour says I peel too much of the yam with the skin
Perhaps it's a conspiracy to make folks like you buy more tomatoes... ๐ค
Nah. Just kidding

Hehe, maybe they're making them with deeper stems these days. ๐ค
Haha sick, I love the different eating styles. Yams are great. I haven't eaten them in a while I want some now.
